I think that if you want a person to fly with bird wings, those wings has got to be pretty big, bigger than this. Angels are fascinating, sure, and pretty, but it can't be easy to be one. Imagine putting a shirt on - and walking! Walking hunched?

I don't think there are any good ways to fold wings on a human back and make it comfortable and natural as well as practical and pretty... At least not in real life. *duhrrrr*

I still like drawing wings. Matt has pretty wings. Flamingos are funny. Silly of me to say "Atavian". But wth...

And since everyone ask me, all the time: No, I have not read Maximum ride.

Well, if angels are all they seem, then there should be a way to hide the wings so they wolud not bother and
scientists woludn't hold you to a table and make experiences.

I wonder, why no one stated what angels' pulse must be far greater than human's... to feed muscular tissue of the wing... And, because of that, they would be hot to touch?

In a book I read recently I the angels had wings that could only be seen by other brings slimier to them and were made of some type of vapor like subsistence that allowed it to be Waite less to them. And I see how what I said could be flowed but just saying.

Hi, I like this. I still want wings but you bring up valid issues. I see you haven't read maximum ride, I have and enjoyed it but there where a lot of things I had issues with. at least with the second version of it. (He wrote two series with the character max who had wings) the first one was a bit better with the anatomy cause the girl didn't have boobs and had a large chest. She also lied eggs. In the second one though she was pretty much physically normal except for the wings (and then they advanced even further and could breath under water and all this ridiculous stuff. But my biggest issue with the whorl story is that main character is around 6 ft, has a 15ft wing span and somehow manages to hide her wings under a jacket. That just doesn't work >.< any way you picture reminded me of that because of the little guy under the flamingo wings.

very beautiful wings. Biologically, if people were to have wings, you would wither be looking at a really tall or really short body build with a seriously buffed out chest to support flight. Plus the wings may not fold conventionally, you may be possibly looking at another joint so they would tuck in and up.... and skinny.. they would definitely be skinny. Or so I would suppose. Your pictures are lovely ^_^

i read somewhere that for humans to fly, the wings would need to be huge and have chests 4 feet wide. rotfl
